Dr. med. Munther Sabarini, director and founder of the Avicenna Clinic, has expanded his neurosurgical team. Dr. med. Muaath Abu-Owaimer, a specialist in neurosurgery, has been appointed Medical Director of the Avicenna Clinic by Dr. med. Munther Sabarini.

Dr. Abu-Owaimer has operated in renowned German hospitals before joining the Avicenna Clinic. Dr. Abu-Owaimer's stations include for example the Department of Neurosurgery at the Hannover Medical School. For the past 12 years, Dr. Abu-Owaimer has worked as a senior consultant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Sankt Gertrauden Hospital in Berlin. Dr. Abu-Owaimer obtained his specialist certification in neurosurgery from the Medical Association of Lower Saxony in Hanover in 2007.

The neurosurgeon not only has all the medical qualifications, he also has the necessary empathy for patients - on top of that, Dr. med. Abu-Owaimer is approachable in three languages: German, English and, as a native Jordanian and compatriot of Dr. Munter Sabarini, Arabic.
